What is CVE-2026-12979?

The FunnelKit WordPress plugin prior to version 3.15.0.6 suffers from a path traversal vulnerability. This issue arises when the plugin does not properly validate user-supplied paths during file deletion operations related to template imports. Administrators, if compromised, could exploit this vulnerability to delete arbitrary .json files outside of the designated directory, potentially affecting the functionality of other components and inducing denial of service.
