Memory Management Vulnerability in MongoDB Server
CVE-2026-13056
7.1HIGH
What is CVE-2026-13056?
The vulnerability in MongoDB Server allows an attacker to exploit the system by crafting queries that generate exceptionally large intermediate objects in memory. This results in the consumption of excessive resources, ultimately causing the server to experience an Out of Memory (OOM) error, leading to a crash. Proper validation of query expressions and limits on array sizes are necessary to mitigate the risks associated with this issue.
