The Robin Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'Alternative Text' field of media library images. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Author-level access to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Consequently, these scripts execute whenever a user accesses the compromised pages, posing a significant security risk.
