What is CVE-2026-13432?

The ThumbPress WordPress plugin prior to version 6.2.2 is susceptible to a security flaw where it fails to verify user capabilities on specific AJAX actions. This omission allows authenticated users with subscriber permissions or higher to deactivate the plugin. Consequently, this can lead to considerable disruption in the site's image-handling features, compromising user experience and site functionality.
