What is CVE-2026-1398?
The Change WP URL plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery across all versions up to and including 1.0. This vulnerability arises from inadequate nonce validation on the 'change-wp-url' page, allowing attackers to exploit this security lapse. By crafting a malicious request, an attacker can potentially manipulate the WordPress Login URL if they succeed in deceiving a site administrator into unknowingly triggering the request, such as by clicking on a link.
