What is CVE-2026-1401?

The Tune Library plugin for WordPress allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level permissions and above to exploit a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability. This occurs through the CSV import functionality, which fails to enforce authorization checks and does not sanitize user input before rendering it on pages using the [tune-library] shortcode. As a result, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into the affected pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity when these pages are accessed.
