What is CVE-2026-14481?

The Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated contributors and above to inject arbitrary web scripts via the 'html' parameter. This occurs due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing attackers to manipulate pages viewed by users. Specifically, the vulnerability is exposed through the REST endpoint /accessibility-checker/v1/post-scan-results/{id}, which is protected only by the edit_post capability on the affected post, making it potentially exploitable by users with editing rights.
