The Mailgun for WordPress plugin prior to version 2.2.1 lacks necessary checks for capabilities and nonces on a specific unauthenticated AJAX action. This flaw allows attackers to add arbitrary email addresses to the website owner's mailing lists, leveraging stored API credentials.
