What is CVE-2026-15023?

The Events Manager plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to exploit an SQL injection. This occurs through a second-order injection method where attackers can embed SQL metacharacters in a custom meta key. By executing actions that trigger the duplication of events or locations, these attackers can manipulate the SQL queries that are constructed from unsafe concatenation of user input, potentially revealing sensitive data stored in the database.
