What is CVE-2026-15098?
The Real3D Flipbook Lite plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability allowing for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the 'lightboxtext' shortcode attribute and other unsanitized attributes. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the on_shortcode() and print_global_options() functions. As a result, shortcode attribute values are directly inserted into user options without proper sanitization, which can lead an attacker with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. When these scripts are executed by editors or administrators viewing the content, it poses a serious security risk.
