What is CVE-2026-15292?

The Sudoku Shortcode plugin for WordPress suffers from a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to improper input sanitization and output escaping within the 'background' parameter of the 'sudoku-sc' shortcode. This flaw allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts. When a user accesses a page containing the injected scripts, the scripts will execute, potentially compromising user data and site integrity across all versions up to and including 1.0.0.
