What is CVE-2026-15372?
The WP 2FA plugin for WordPress, prior to version 4.1.0, contains a critical flaw that fails to validate the secondary authentication factor when one of the supported methods is chosen during the login process. This oversight allows an unauthorized individual who possesses the valid password of a user to effectively bypass two-factor authentication security measures, enabling full access to the account, including privileges associated with administrator accounts. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to affected sites as it can lead to unauthorized data access and potential site compromise.
