What is CVE-2026-15385?

The RT Mega Menu plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.5.2 has a security flaw due to inadequate capability checks on its AJAX actions. The vulnerability allows a logged-in user with subscriber-level permissions to manipulate the mega-menu configuration. By exploiting this flaw, the user can introduce unsafe JavaScript into the style attributes of menu items, leading to a potential session or site takeover by executing script code when site visitors interact with the navigation menu.
