What is CVE-2026-15388?

The Cookie Consent plugin for WordPress prior to version 0.0.10 is susceptible to improper access control due to a lack of proper enforcement of administrator capabilities on its REST routes. This vulnerability allows any authenticated user, even those with limited privileges such as subscribers, to alter consent settings. Additionally, on websites that are part of the vendor's paid plan, users can access stored visitor consent logs, potentially compromising sensitive information.
