What is CVE-2026-1566?

The LatePoint – Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events is affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability that allows users with the LatePoint Agent role to manipulate the 'wordpress_user_id' field while creating new customers. This flaw enables authenticated attackers with Agent-level access or higher to link a new customer account to any arbitrary user ID, potentially including those of administrators. As a result, these attackers can reset passwords and gain elevated privileges, posing a significant security risk.
