What is CVE-2026-16062?

The Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce Plugin prior to version 5.3.7 allows unauthorized users with Contributor access and above to exploit deserialization vulnerabilities in certain event content fields. Although no direct payload chains are present within the plugin itself, if another version of the Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce with a payload chain is installed, it could potentially enable malicious actions, including arbitrary file deletion, unauthorized data extraction, or even remote code execution. This reveals an incomplete remediation of previous advisories regarding object injection risks associated with the plugin.

Affected Version(s)

Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce 0 < 5.3.7

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
