What is CVE-2026-1611?

The Wikiloops Track Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin's wikiloops shortcode. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.0.1. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages, executing them when users visit the compromised pages, leading to potential data theft and unauthorized actions.
