What is CVE-2026-16137?

In Progress ShareFile Storage Zones Controller versions up to v5.12.5, a vulnerability exists that allows users with valid zone credentials to exploit the resumable upload initiation endpoint. Through path traversal attacks, these users can write arbitrary content to any location that the application's service account has write access to. This could potentially allow the execution of malicious code supplied by the attacker, posing a significant security risk to affected systems.
