What is CVE-2026-16256?

The POUCO Import Users plugin for WordPress version 1.0.0 is susceptible to a serious security flaw that allows unauthorized users to exploit AJAX actions. The plugin fails to implement necessary capability and nonce checks for these actions, which are accessible even to unauthenticated users. This oversight enables attackers to create new administrator accounts on affected sites, potentially leading to complete site control and compromise of sensitive data.
