What is CVE-2026-16291?

The ProfileGrid plugin for WordPress, prior to version 5.9.9.8, contains an improper authorization vulnerability that enables authenticated users, such as Subscribers, to delete notifications intended for other users. This occurs due to the lack of verification that a notification belongs to the requesting user, which allows for the enumeration of notification identifiers and unauthorized deletion actions.
