The PowerPress Podcasting Plugin by Blubrry prior to version 11.17.1 contains a security flaw where it fails to validate the Podcast Episode URL settings. This oversight permits users assigned to lower roles, such as Contributor, to exploit server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerabilities. As a result, attackers can potentially target and access sensitive internal services, posing a significant risk to the system's integrity and security.
