What is CVE-2026-16295?

The Clearfy Cache Plugin for WordPress, prior to version 2.4.3, is susceptible to a vulnerability where it fails to implement adequate capability checks in its admin-page routing. This oversight enables any authenticated user, including those with minimal permissions like Subscribers, to access restricted admin-only settings pages. Consequently, sensitive information, such as administrative nonces, may be exposed, posing significant security risks while the canonical page URL maintains proper access restrictions.

Affected Version(s)

Clearfy Cache 0 < 2.4.3

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
