What is CVE-2026-16296?

The Clearfy Cache plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.4.3 contains a vulnerability that arises from the lack of validation for the redirect target in its old-URL redirect handler, known as Cyrlitera. This deficiency permits unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the redirect mechanism, allowing them to send users to arbitrary external URLs if non-default settings are enabled. Site administrators using this plugin should promptly update their versions to mitigate potential security risks.
