What is CVE-2026-1641?

The Wow Elements Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to exploit Server-Side Request Forgery. This vulnerability occurs because the plugin uses user-controlled input from the 'Changelog File' setting directly in the wp_remote_get function, lacking proper validation and sanitization. As a result, attackers can make web requests to arbitrary locations, potentially exposing and manipulating information from internal services.
