What is CVE-2026-1644?

The WP Frontend Profile plugin for WordPress suffers from a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability due to inadequate nonce validation in its 'update_action' function. This flaw allows unauthorized attackers to manipulate user account registrations by sending forged requests, provided they can deceive an administrator into executing a malicious action, such as clicking a link. All versions up to and including 1.3.8 are affected, leaving user accounts at risk of unauthorized access and potential compromise.
