What is CVE-2026-16536?

The Simple Google Calendar Outlook Events Widget plugin for WordPress prior to version 3.1.0 is prone to a security vulnerability due to improper validation of user-supplied URLs. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to execute Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks, which may enable them to send unauthorized requests and potentially read the responses from internal resources.
