What is CVE-2026-16540?

The Simply Schedule Appointments plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.6.12.6 contains a vulnerability that fails to adequately restrict bulk operations to a requester's own records. This oversight allows unauthenticated individuals to access personal data related to all appointments on the site. Additionally, users of premium editions may exploit this vulnerability to permanently delete appointment records, leading to significant data exposure and loss.
