What is CVE-2026-16541?

The Simply Schedule Appointments WordPress plugin prior to version 1.6.12.17 suffers from improper access control. This flaw allows users with low privilege, such as those in staff roles, to access user records from REST endpoints without adequate restrictions. Consequently, this vulnerability enables these users to disclose sensitive information, including names and email addresses of arbitrary registered users, potentially leading to data exposure.
