What is CVE-2026-16561?

The Sunshine Photo Cart plugin for WordPress, in versions prior to 3.6.12, lacks proper access control measures for certain AJAX actions. This oversight permits unauthenticated users to access and retrieve comments from images that are part of private, password-protected, or otherwise restricted galleries. Such a flaw can lead to unauthorized viewing of sensitive information, compromising the security and privacy intended for protected content.
