What is CVE-2026-16564?

The Dokan plugin for WordPress prior to version 5.0.9 contains a significant access control vulnerability. This flaw does not verify the ownership of orders on a REST endpoint responsible for bulk order-status changes, which can permit users holding a Dokan vendor account to alter the status of any WooCommerce order. This insecurity allows modifications not only to their orders but extends to orders from other vendors and even those belonging to customers of the store, potentially leading to unauthorized access and manipulation of user order data.

Affected Version(s)

Dokan: AI Powered WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace Solution 0 < 5.0.9

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
