What is CVE-2026-1657?
The EventPrime plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows unauthorized image file uploads. This security flaw exists in versions up to and including 4.2.8.4, due to improper registration of the upload_file_media AJAX action. It is publicly accessible without necessary authentication or authorization measures in place. Attackers can exploit this flaw to upload malicious images directly to the WordPress uploads directory, potentially compromising the integrity of the Media Library through the ep_upload_file_media endpoint.
