What is CVE-2026-16613?

The GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin for WordPress, prior to version 5.1.0, contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows an attacker to exploit cookie expiration functionality. Due to a lack of authentication checks, an unauthorized user can craft a link to log out any visitor and remove the associated cookies. This can lead to session hijacking or loss of user cookies, potentially compromising the website's security.
