What is CVE-2026-16968?

The GeoDirectory WordPress plugin, prior to version 2.8.168, contains a vulnerability that permits authenticated users with Contributor-level permissions or higher to exploit a user-search handler. This oversight allows these users to retrieve email addresses of all registered users, including those of administrators, without any form of access restrictions. As a result, this poses a significant risk to user privacy and data integrity within WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
