What is CVE-2026-17166?

The Event Booking Manager for WooCommerce plugin is susceptible to an authorization bypass vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 5.3.7. This flaw allows authenticated attackers, specifically those with contributor-level access or higher, to manipulate critical site-wide payment configurations. These include enabling WooCommerce payments, adjusting cart redirect behaviors, altering checkout login requirements, setting confirmation page IDs, and modifying confirmed ticket statuses, thereby compromising the integrity of event booking processes on WordPress sites.
