What is CVE-2026-1730?

The OS DataHub Maps plugin for WordPress is susceptible to arbitrary file uploads due to inadequate validation of file types within the 'OS_DataHub_Maps_Admin::add_file_and_ext' function. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.8.3, allowing authenticated users with Author-level access or higher to upload potentially harmful files to the server. This could lead to serious security risks, including remote code execution, jeopardizing the integrity of the affected WordPress site.
