What is CVE-2026-17577?

The SSL Zen plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that permits reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) through manipulation of the 'uri' and 'host' parameters. Attackers can exploit this flaw as the 'token_missmatch' message is created by decoding base64-encoded user input, which is then processed by ineffective sanitization protocols. This allows attackers to inject and execute arbitrary web scripts in the browser of a victim who engages with specifically crafted links, exposing users to potential security threats.
