What is CVE-2026-1785?

The Code Snippets plugin for WordPress contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability that affects all versions up to and including 3.9.4. This issue arises from the lack of nonce validation on critical cloud snippet download and update actions within the Cloud_Search_List_Table class. As a result, unauthorized individuals can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate logged-in administrators into downloading or updating snippets without their knowledge or consent, provided they can lure an administrator into visiting a specially crafted malicious webpage.
