Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in WDES Responsive Popup Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-1804
What is CVE-2026-1804?
The WDES Responsive Popup plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'wdes-popup-title' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which would execute when other users access these compromised pages. This presents a significant security risk as it allows for unauthorized script execution within the user environment.
