What is CVE-2026-18234?

The MStore API plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.21.1 contains a significant vulnerability in its payment handling mechanism. It fails to verify the ownership of the orders being processed, allowing any authenticated user, including those with minimal roles such as Subscribers, to manipulate order statuses without completing the necessary payment. This oversight can lead to unauthorized marking of orders as paid, severely affecting the integrity of the payment system and the financial balance for businesses relying on this plugin.

Affected Version(s)
