What is CVE-2026-1830?

The Quick Playground plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. This occurs due to a lack of proper authorization checks on REST API endpoints that expose a sync code, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files through path traversal techniques. As a result, this vulnerability poses a significant risk, allowing remote code execution and potential full server compromise in all versions up to and including 1.3.1.
