What is CVE-2026-18356?
The Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an authentication bypass due to its failure to perform case-insensitive comparisons on its username denylist. Furthermore, the plugin does not consider the account's associated email address, which allows blocked accounts to authenticate successfully, potentially compromising security measures intended to restrict access.
