What is CVE-2026-1854?

The Post Flagger plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to exploit insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability is triggered through the plugin's 'flag' shortcode, enabling attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts can execute whenever a user accesses a page containing injected content, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
