What is CVE-2026-1883?

The Wicked Folders – Folder Organizer for Pages, Posts, and Custom Post Types plugin for WordPress contains an Insecure Direct Object Reference vulnerability due to insufficient validation in the delete_folders() function. This flaw allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to delete folders that were created by other users. Consequently, this vulnerability poses a significant risk to data integrity and user management within WordPress sites using this plugin.
