What is CVE-2026-18962?

The WP Photo Album Plus WordPress plugin, prior to version 9.2.09.002, fails to enforce user authorization when allowing front-end uploads. This oversight enables any authenticated user, including those with minimal access such as Subscribers, to upload files to albums owned by others, including administrators. While the front-end upload feature is not enabled by default, its activation could lead to unauthorized content being injected into shared albums.

Affected Version(s)

WP Photo Album Plus 0 < 9.2.09.002

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
