What is CVE-2026-1899?

The Any Post Slider plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on the 'post_type' attribute in the aps_slider shortcode. This vulnerability enables authenticated users with Contributor-level access and higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Consequently, any user accessing the compromised page may unknowingly execute these scripts, potentially leading to unauthorized data manipulation or exposure.
