What is CVE-2026-19256?

The All In One Login plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.5.0 lacks proper restrictions on the number of login attempts using its passwordless email login feature. This vulnerability enables unauthenticated attackers to exploit the system by making multiple attempts against the short numeric code. Furthermore, failed login attempts are not integrated into the plugin's brute-force protection mechanism, allowing potential attackers a pathway to compromise user accounts, including those of administrators, putting sensitive information at risk.

Affected Version(s)

All In One Login 2.4.0 < 2.5.0

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
