What is CVE-2026-1941?

The WP Event Aggregator plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within its 'wp_events' shortcode. Authenticated individuals with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to insert arbitrary web scripts into pages that execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to severe security breaches and unauthorized access.
