What is CVE-2026-19573?

The Affiliate Super Assistant plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks through the 'doCommentShortcode' function. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping mechanisms present in all versions up to and including 1.10.2. Attackers can exploit this weakness to insert arbitrary web scripts into affected pages. These scripts will run when users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to the theft of sensitive data or the hijacking of user sessions.
