What is CVE-2026-19698?

The GutenKit WordPress plugin has a vulnerability that allows users with Contributor roles and above to inject arbitrary CSS into posts. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's failure to validate or sanitize style settings before incorporating them into the CSS rendered on the front end. While this limitation prevents JavaScript execution, it can lead to visual alterations on the page, enabling defacement and interface manipulation, thereby compromising the integrity of the user experience and the website’s appearance.
