What is CVE-2026-1983?

The Simple Event Attendance plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery, affecting all versions up to and including 1.5.0. This vulnerability arises from the absence of nonce validation in the event deletion feature, allowing unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary events. By deceiving an administrator into executing a crafted request, an attacker could potentially manipulate the event management system to remove important events without proper authorization.
